Privacy notice

This notice covers the websites LinkOS runs: linkos.io, openlinkos.com, origin.openlinkos.com and linkos.org. The services listed on linkos.org, such as LinkOS Mirrors, have their own notice.

What we record

The CDN in front of our websites logs each request: your IP address, the time, the page you asked for, the referring page, your browser's User-Agent and the response status. We use these logs to run the websites, count visits and stop abuse, and for nothing else. The CDN deletes them automatically after 30 days.

Cookies and local storage

• When you choose a language, a cookie named openlinkos-lang remembers your choice for a year. Sites under the same domain share it. We set no other cookies.
• If you switch between light and dark appearance, your browser's local storage remembers it.

Analytics

Our websites load no analytics and no third-party trackers.

Where

Our servers and CDN nodes are outside mainland China, currently in the United States, and requests and logs are processed there.

Sharing

We do not sell the logs or give them to anyone, except where the law requires it.
