linkos.org opens, and the mirrors and status page are rebuilt

2026-10-22

linkos.org is now the home of our free services. It lists them, explains each one and holds the terms of use, the privacy notice and the abuse contact they share.

LinkOS Mirrors now runs on Caddy and zot. Nothing changes for you: the five domains are the same, and you still swap the registry's domain for ours and pull as usual. The public mirrors are read-only, so pushes and deletions are refused, and the catalogue of cached images is no longer public. Opening a mirror domain in a browser shows how to use it.

LinkOS Status moved from Upptime to Gatus. It checks every service each minute from Los Angeles and from two probes in mainland China, in Shanghai and Zhejiang. When only the mainland checks fail, the cause is usually the network between mainland China and the service. See uptime.linkos.org.
